Please join us for a year and a half of celebrations and special events.
Why a year and a half? In 1983, supporters of Leslie Friedman’s work as a dancer & choreographer decided to incorporate a not for profit organization that would support her work. The State of California recognized The Lively Foundation, in 1983. The Internal Revenue Service lost Lively’s papers, in 1983, and then granted The Lively Foundation, Inc. 501 (c) (3) not for profit, tax-exempt status early in 1984. HOORAY!!! More time to celebrate.
Watch this blog for news of a series of great events and also for a report on our accomplishments and creations of the past 25 years. THANKS!
