The Lively Foundation

The Lively Foundation proudly welcomes our great guest artists, Kai Davis and Ari Sorrentino. They will perform in THAT OLD BAT MAGIC: BAT TALES! on Sunday,  October 21, at Cowell Theater, Ft. Mason, San Francisco.
Lively’s Artistic Director, Leslie Friedman, has choreographed a premiere work, THAT OLD BAT MAGIC, especially for them. Together, they have been working on the premiere and other repertory pieces in rehearsal in San Francisco and Mountain View.
Ms. Davis has a distinguished career in ballet. She joined the Boston Ballet Company right out of high school and danced with them for four years. She then joined the San Jose Ballet, and recently returned to the Bay Area after four years dancing leading roles with the British Columbia Ballet.
While she has danced The Cowgirl, in Rodeo, and The Sugarplum, in Nutcracker, this is Ms. Davis’s first role as a bat.
Mr. Sorrentino dances with the San Diego Ballet and the San Diego Opera.
His touring engagements have included the Coppelia’s male lead which he danced in Kodiak, Alaska.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see this talented dance duo! Get your tickets from Cowell Theater’s box office: 415/345-7575 or online at www.fortmason.org/boxoffice, or call Lively at 415/346-8959.
