The Metropolitan Ballet of Tacoma invited Lively’s Artistic Director, Leslie Friedman, to teach a master class and some of her choreography, May 20. Leslie found the dancers to be exceptionally well trained by their Artistic Director, Damaris Caughlan. She taught them excerpts from her dance, “Calcaterra,” and also from “Come Down Angels.” “They were willing to try just about anything,” Leslie reported, “and that included spinning on their backs on the floor in Calcaterra and three different falls in Angels.” A terrific group of dancers”  Pictures from the warm-ups above and below.
