The Lively Foundation
The Lively Foundation brought The Gold Rush! to Cupertino, CA (world headquarters of Apple computer), May 18, 2012. Two performances entertained and informed the entire school of about 620 students plus their teachers. Response was enthusiastic and most satisfying.
Thanks to the amazing cast: Jonathan Clark, singer, dancer, actor and Technical Director; Audreyanne Covarrubias, dancer & narrator; Amity Johnson, dancer & narrator. Artistic Director, Leslie Friedman narrated.
Bonnie Merrick, fourth grade teacher at Eaton School, contacted Leslie nearly a year ago to set a date for the event. Thank you, Ms Merrick, for your interest and foresight!
Sincere thanks also to Rev. Anne Havrilla (mother of dancer Amity) who came from New Jersey to be in our audience. It was a joy to have her out front. Rev. Havrilla also hosted a cast party, in Mountain View, after the shows. Lively is already accepting dates for the 2012-2013 season!
