Excitement is building, no doubt about it. Twenty days to go until Lively’s great program, A.K.O.D! All Kinds of Dance! takes place in Mountain View, CA. This amazing concert is FREE! Don’t miss it! The performers include professional companies and two top notch high school dance groups: B.A.R.T. --Bay Area Rhythm Tap Company, from Berkeley; Terese Hoibye, modern dance, from Albany; Sarika Patel, Bharatanatyam, classical Indian dancer, from Walnut Creek; Troupe Nambah, tribal/belly-dance, from San Jose & south bay areas; Lively’s own Leslie Friedman, modern/jazz/ballet, from San Francisco; Mountain View high school dancers and Gunn (Palo Alto) High School dancers.
Named a Cornerstone Event of National Dance Week, A.K.O.D! will be entertaining and fun. The dancers will talk with the audience about their work at the end of the concert. Oh yes, and it’s all FREE!
