The Lively Foundation
It is always exciting getting ready for a production, but this year’s preparations have been different than anything we’ve done before. Our director’s car was stolen and in it were the costumes and props for THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS. The performance will be exactly two weeks after the theft.
So, with just one day to go, we are sewing things, tying things, and making new things.
We are very grateful to Lively’s wonderful friends who have come through with support at this high pressure time. You know who you are; we are reluctant to shout your names throughout cyberspace.
An interesting note: The San Francisco Coalition for Darfur, represented by Martina Knee, has sold a block of tickets to our show to raise money for the victims of the terrible violence in Darfur. We are glad to be able to participate in efforts to help.
The Bears are getting ready, putting on their finest hats and warm coats. It’s time for them to go to Cowell Theater at Fort Mason Center, San Francisco to see their favorite show: The Festival of Lights. They love the music, they love the dance, and they love that they are the stars!
